目前在日本，国产的复古吉他非常流行。特别是在像Mercari和Hard Off这样的跳蚤市场网站或二手商店中，有些型号的吉他交易价格甚至是几年前的两倍。
我自己也通过Mercari，从前年开始已经买了接近10把。尤其是两年前购买的吉他，现在可以以1.5倍左右的价格卖出。这说明愿意收藏这些吉他的人正在增加。
价格上涨的主要是1970年代后期到1980年代前期制造的纯国产型号。这些型号大多数是1950年代吉布森（Gibson）或芬达（Fender）吉他复制品。
在1980年前后，当时的吉他少年们都憧憬着吉米·佩奇（Jimmy Page）或埃里克·克莱普顿（Eric Clapton）手中的真正的吉布森·莱斯保（Les Paul）或芬达·斯特拉托卡斯特（Stratocaster），但那些型号的价格甚至高过他们父母的月薪，显然无法负担得起。于是，他们只能买价格仅为其十分之一的国产廉价吉他。
然而，大约40年过去了，当年的廉价吉他也达到了复古吉他的阶段。这些吉他即便是当时的型号，其复制非常精巧，做工扎实。此外，使用的木材如今已经十分稀有，这也是这一风潮的原因之一。吉他琴身的木材已经完全干燥，有些甚至能够发出与原版无差别的音色。这正是这一风潮的起源。

Vintage Japanese Guitars Are Trending in Japan Right Now

Vintage Japanese guitars are currently trending in Japan. Especially on flea market platforms like Mercari and second-hand resale shops such as Hard Off, certain models are being traded at prices twice as high as a few years ago.
I’ve personally purchased close to 10 guitars through Mercari since about two years ago. For instance, a guitar I bought two years ago could now be sold for about 1.5 times the price I paid. This shows that more and more people are eager to collect these guitars.
The rising prices are limited to pure Japanese-made models manufactured between the late 1970s and early 1980s. Most of these are replica models of 1950s Gibsons or Fenders.
Back around 1980, teenage guitar enthusiasts in Japan idolized the genuine Gibson Les Pauls or Fender Stratocasters played by heroes like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. However, since these models cost more than their parents’ monthly salaries, they naturally couldn’t afford them. Instead, they settled for cheap Japanese-made guitars priced at about one-tenth of the originals.
Now, roughly 40 years later, those cheap guitars have entered the vintage category. Even back then, the replicas were remarkably precise, the craftsmanship was solid, and they used precious woods that are no longer available today. These factors contribute to the current boom. The bodies of these guitars have fully dried, and in some cases, they produce tones that rival the original models. This is the root of the trend.
At the same time, this boom is largely supported by men in their 50s and 60s. For them, the guitars they once desired but couldn’t afford can now be bought impulsively with some pocket money.
Rather than aiming to relive the dreams of their teenage heroes or make a stage debut, most people, like me, seem to be sitting at home, strumming along while watching YouTube.
“This is the sound I’ve always wanted.” — It’s become an era where dreams can be achieved at a reasonable cost.

현재 일본에서는 국산 빈티지 기타가 매우 유행하고 있습니다. 특히 메르카리(Mercari)나 하드오프(Hard Off) 같은 중고 거래 사이트나 리세일 숍에서는, 특정 모델이 몇 년 전의 두 배 가격으로 거래되고 있습니다.
저도 메르카리를 통해 재작년부터 약 10대 정도를 구입했습니다. 예를 들어 2년 전에 구입한 기타는 지금 팔면 약 1.5배 가격에 팔 수 있습니다. 그만큼 이를 수집하고 싶어 하는 사람들이 늘고 있다는 뜻입니다.
가격이 상승하는 모델은 1970년대 후반부터 1980년대 초반에 생산된 순수 일본산 모델로 한정됩니다. 이들 대부분은 1950년대 깁슨(Gibson)이나 펜더(Fender)의 복제품입니다.
1980년경, 당시의 기타 소년들은 모두 지미 페이지(Jimmy Page)나 에릭 클랩튼(Eric Clapton)이 사용하는 깁슨 레스폴(Les Paul)이나 펜더 스트라토캐스터(Stratocaster)를 동경했지만, 부모님의 월급보다 더 비싼 그 모델을 당연히 살 수 없었습니다. 대신 가격이 1/10 정도 되는 국산 저가 기타를 사야 했습니다.
하지만 40년이 지난 지금, 그 당시 저가 기타도 빈티지 수준에 도달했습니다. 당시의 모델도 상당히 정교하게 복제되었고, 제작도 탄탄했습니다. 게다가 이제는 구할 수 없는 희귀 목재가 사용된 것도 유행의 요인 중 하나입니다. 기타의 바디가 완전히 건조되어, 어떤 것은 본가와 견줄 만한 음색을 내게 된 것도 이 유행의 시작입니다.
한편, 이 유행을 지탱하는 것은 50~60대 남성들입니다. 과거에 원했지만 살 수 없었던 기타를 지금은 약간의 용돈만 모으면 충동적으로 구입할 수 있습니다.
옛날의 영웅을 떠올리며 무대 데뷔를 꿈꾸기보다는 저처럼 집에서 유튜브를 보며 소소하게 기타를 치는 사람들이 대부분인 것 같습니다.
“이런 소리를 원했다.” — 이제는 꿈이 저렴한 비용으로 실현될 수 있는 시대가 되었다고 생각합니다.

Pada masa ini, gitar vintage buatan Jepun sangat popular di Jepun. Terutamanya di platform pasar lambak seperti Mercari dan kedai-kedai jualan semula seperti Hard Off, beberapa model dijual pada harga dua kali ganda berbanding beberapa tahun lalu.
Saya sendiri telah membeli hampir 10 gitar melalui Mercari sejak dua tahun lalu. Sebagai contoh, gitar yang saya beli dua tahun lalu kini boleh dijual dengan harga 1.5 kali lebih tinggi. Ini menunjukkan semakin ramai orang berminat untuk mengumpul gitar-gitar ini.
Model yang harganya meningkat adalah model buatan Jepun tulen yang dihasilkan antara lewat 1970-an hingga awal 1980-an. Kebanyakannya adalah replika model Gibson atau Fender dari tahun 1950-an.
Sekitar tahun 1980, remaja peminat gitar ketika itu sangat mengidolakan Gibson Les Paul atau Fender Stratocaster yang dimiliki oleh Jimmy Page atau Eric Clapton. Namun, memandangkan harga model tersebut lebih tinggi daripada gaji bulanan ibu bapa mereka, mereka jelas tidak mampu memilikinya. Sebaliknya, mereka hanya mampu membeli gitar murah buatan Jepun yang harganya sekitar satu per sepuluh daripada model asal.
Walau bagaimanapun, kira-kira 40 tahun telah berlalu, dan gitar murah pada masa itu kini telah mencapai status vintage. Walaupun model lama, replika tersebut dibuat dengan sangat teliti, dan pembuatannya kukuh. Selain itu, kayu yang digunakan kini sangat jarang dijumpai, menjadi salah satu sebab utama trend ini. Actualmente, las guitarras vintage japonesas están de moda en Japón. Especialmente en plataformas de mercado como Mercari o tiendas de reventa de segunda mano como Hard Off, ciertos modelos se están vendiendo a precios que son el doble de los de hace unos años.
Personalmente, he comprado casi 10 guitarras a través de Mercari desde hace un par de años. Por ejemplo, una guitarra que compré hace dos años ahora podría venderse por aproximadamente 1.5 veces su precio original. Esto demuestra que cada vez hay más personas interesadas en coleccionar estas guitarras.
Los modelos cuyo precio ha subido son exclusivamente aquellos fabricados entre finales de los años 70 y principios de los 80 en Japón. La mayoría de estos son réplicas de modelos de Gibson o Fender de los años 50.
Alrededor de 1980, los jóvenes guitarristas de esa época idolatraban las auténticas Gibson Les Paul o Fender Stratocaster que tocaban héroes como Jimmy Page o Eric Clapton. Sin embargo, como estos modelos costaban más que el salario mensual de sus padres, no podían permitírselos. En cambio, compraban guitarras japonesas baratas cuyo precio era aproximadamente una décima parte del original.
Ahora, aproximadamente 40 años después, esas guitarras baratas han alcanzado el estatus de vintage. Incluso en aquel entonces, las réplicas eran increíblemente precisas, estaban bien construidas y utilizaban maderas preciosas que hoy en día son difíciles de conseguir. Estos factores han contribuido al auge actual. Las maderas de los cuerpos de las guitarras se han secado por completo, y algunas de ellas ahora pueden producir tonos que rivalizan con los de los modelos originales. Este es el origen de esta tendencia.
Por otro lado, esta moda está siendo impulsada en gran parte por hombres en sus 50 y 60 años. Para ellos, las guitarras que una vez desearon pero no pudieron comprar ahora pueden adquirirse impulsivamente con algo de dinero ahorrado.
En su mayoría, no están buscando revivir los sueños de sus héroes del pasado o debutar en el escenario, sino que, como yo, suelen sentarse en casa tocando poco a poco mientras ven videos en YouTube.
“Este es el sonido que siempre quise”. — Creo que estamos en una era donde los sueños pueden lograrse a un costo razonable.
